I am new to PY Forum. I have recently purchased a 64 Grand Prix and like most, I hate the Slim Jim transmission. I’ve been considering various alternatives. I see in one of your posts that you have a Turbo 350 in yours. I know they can be built to handle 400 hp. With my low numeric rear ratio, I believe 2.72, I’m not sure I need overdrive.

How has your experience been? I’m not sure about the size of the T350, but will it fit in the trans tunnel? I’m guessing it’s smaller than the T400. Any info or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks Randy.
