Hey Mike , I'm just now getting around to the Dash removal on my 69 . I 'm having trouble with the trim piece between the dash and windshield .How does that thing come up ? Also when I removed the console and there is no wire to power the light for the shifter and ashtray. there is a wire that has a forked spade that looks like it attaches to the shifter ,but thats it . I don't see any place where a hot wire ever was connected or a place to connect it. the duct work has been out before ,because the vents don't have the flex between the vents and duct and aren't there . I think I'll remove the seats for better access . Got the radio out and it's off to be converted tomorrow. Pointers on the trim piece removal would be welcome .
