I came into it from a more analytical angle. Before joining a session, I wanted to understand the background and structure, because I don’t like jumping into things blindly. The board is built around an old philosophical model where human experience is divided into levels, moving from basic survival states toward higher awareness. The goal isn’t to win, it’s to see where you are internally and how you move between these states. The dice introduce randomness, but the interpretation part is very conscious and grounded in your personal intention. I spent time reading about the
leela game just to get a sense of how the levels are organized and what the symbolic transitions mean. That helped me relax during the session because I understood there’s a system behind it.
