Has anyone run into this before and if so, what did you do to fix this so the lower trim will attach properly? Thanks

That I already have. I noticed the center vent tube is in a different location. Also, the gas caps are different. Can I re-plumb the center vent tube, and use the 1970 gas cap, without any...
