I have a set of the 72 only A body rally gauges here. The 72 year has a fasten seat belt red warning lamp which prior years of gauges did not have. The dash wiring plug-in for a 72 w/rally gauge option is completely different in that they needed to add in another wire in the plug-in to light up the seat belt lamp so every other wire in the plug-in gets moved over one space from the wire next to where it was before in order to modify the dash harness to go from no rally gauges to real gauges. (Gauges for fuel, temp and oil pressure. )

It might be easier just to replace the whole dash harness.

The gauge set I have needs some work but they are in really good condition, visually. I have already glass beaded and re-plated the steel (rear) housing and I bought a new printed circuit for it. The speedometer is going to need rebuilt in order to put these back into a running car.
