John I have 2 more 3705 carbs and Pontiac arms so carbs are not a problem. I understand you wanting to finish you 63 and I agree whole hardily. When you are done you could just gift it to me should you feel real generous.

John do you have throttle linkage for use on the early bathtubs? And can you convert two more of my hemi carbs to work on it? Thanks, Mike P.S No rush

Did Herb buy your 421 Std pistons or do you still have them?

Use an Offy intake since they place the carburetors only 3/8" closer together than did the real SD intakes. The Edelbrock intake is a good intake but mounts the carbs jamb up against one another and you cannot put the '56/'57 Corvette air cleaners (which the super dutys used) on the carbs with that intake.

I get $1300 for a pair of the clone carbs, $1100 for a setup on an Offy intake with generic carbs and $1700 with sd clones, and $2800 for a setup on a 54299 intake with the clones. Add $225 to the above prices for a set of new Corvette air cleaners. These setup prices are for a turn key setup with the intake, carbs, sd linkage and fuel lines (I make my own), flow tested and calibrated to the customer's engine.

I have a 54299 that has been modified to fit '65> heads that I can put a setup on.

I have several intakes Offy/sd but do not sell just intakes.

John, I am building a 64 Catalina post car based on S/S-Jr Stock era. I have acquired a 66 421 YK 375 HP complete engine minus trips & intake. I want to use the 093 heads and will be doing a complete rebuild. I want to use a dual quad set up like a 62-63 SD. The fact that Pontiac never made a SD in 64 and that I am using a 66 engine, I am not so concerned with #'s matching and authenticity. With that said, I do want a period correct appearance while being functional and reliable. Can you advise me which way to go on intakes, offy/edelbrock and carbs? I like the idea of Buick or Chevy with the Fabcract linkage and fuel lines. Also, if you could let me know what you would charge to put something like this together, both parts & labor. No hurry, as I haven't even tore the 421 down yet.
