Dick, do you have any interest in a 57/58 Pontiac front air horn and bowl but has a center carb base which I find no number on?

I would estimate $750-900. The missing venturis would be the only issue for me--and would be a deal breaker for some who don't have access to missing parts.

End carbs unrestored sell for about $250--- Correct center carb about $300. I've found end carb venturis for $25 but sometimes higher. Center carb venturi is not hard to find.

I'll buy them for $750 if you have no luck elsewhere.

Dick, trying to establish a fair value for a set of original 66 manual trans TP carbs. I've checked all the numbers and all ate right. Have air horns, bowls and bases. Everything is extremely clean, looked dipped to clean. Have 3 float bowls, misc screws and no venturis. Most assembly screws are missing. Can send pics if you advise em addy. PM your guess.

Thanks, Jack. I will have them in the mail next week. They've been ready for plating for awhile and I threw the box away, so didn't know your address.

I think you'll be pleased with the results.

Yes I did send the 64 hood latch Dick. I have not been active on this site for awhile. If I did not include enough postage just let me know. Thank you.

    Mike,

Yes, I can restore the setup to factory appearance and performance. We will have to set up the center carb for the aftermarket cam. I've often done that for others. I need the cam specs to calibrate the idle circuit, power valve, main jets.

I rebuild the bases and coat them with Zinc Phosphate, which looks like the factory black oxide, but is corrosion resistant. I zinc dichromate the carb bodies and plate the linkage as the factory did.

If you provide your email and/or texting phone number, I will show you pictures of my previous work. The only request I have is that the work be done by the end of April. I try not to use summer months to do restorations.

    Thank you,

    Dick Boneske

Hi Dick, my name is Mike McCarty. I am interested in having you restore/modify a Tri Power for me. It is a 1965 421 HO unit. My Dad bought the car new. I painted the carbs years ago with the Eastwood paint. I will have this stripped off for you. It will need the correct 65 progressive linkage. (currently has a 63) I am modifying the engine with a hydraulic roller camshaft and a little cylinder head work. (original heads) Think you might be interested? Thank you for your time, Mike

Yes. You can send to Richard Boneske, 5191 Southwind Drive, Winneconne, WI 54986. I just did one for a '65. Really turned out nice! I charged him $30, since all the pieces needed cleanup. He used a wire brush, but missed the crevices. I media blasted and wire wheel brushed. Post was silver, safety latch gold, bolts & safety latch coil spring black. How does that sound?

    Dick

You can call or text 920-450-1040.

Hi Dick. I was wondering if your offer still holds. I would like to send you my 1964 hood latch parts for plating. The post is silver cad and the safety latch seems to be part silver and gold cad. Thanks
