    I see it differently. going into production or not, pontiac went holley when performance was the goal. tune ability etc just more efficient process on a holley. and yes a holley carb appearance wise to a car nut like me just looks so much better also. i love the gto tri power and hated to see the q jet in 67. did you know the reason the 67 didnt get tri power was because gm mandated the only car allowed tripower was chevy corvette? they took it from pontiac. jusy my humble thoughts on it all.

    The Ram Air 5 never went into production thus the Carb. on it means nothing. What makes you ever think Pontiac dropped the Quad? They dropped Tri-Power in 1966 and went to the quad.
