Hello Jim. I see a set of 2.32" Titanium Intake valves on here. Did you go with 5/16" diameter on the Intakes?? I think you had mentioned that you went with this valve size. Just need to confirm the diameter. Motor is still apart. The cam plate was junk as the cam walked forward and galled the cam plate. Scott Sims is making me a Torrington timing set. Plus the rod side clearance was too tight. There was black marks on some of the sides of the rods. Hope all is well. Talk with you soon.

    Jim,
For the Milt Schornack and the Royal Bobcat GTOs book, you can send a PayPal payment to: writeway@bellsouth.net. Send the $34 as you're sending to a friend/relative. It saves those crazy fees. Also, include your address!

Good. We have torn down the short block and we found three things. That we need to discuss. Call when you can. Parts such as crank and timing cover look good so we are progressing. The valve job is complete and we need to discuss cam and other parts that will be reused and which to buy.
