Donald, Jim Turner at Piedmont Dragway called me today about having to cancel the event scheduled for the 25th of this month due to a last minute change in the schedule. I will be rescheduling at a later date and will be in touch when I do. Is there anyway that you can pass this information on as I don't know how to contact some of the members of your club. I'm going to call Bob and let him know, but if you happen to talk to him first could you let him know. Also if possible I would like to try to get Shadyside into the mix if this can be worked out. Hey bud, I have two confirmed dates setup for some racing. The first is May 22nd at Farmington Dragway just outside of Winston-Salem and the second is the 25th of June at Piedmont Dragway at Greensboro. I'm working on trying to get some dates set up as soon as possible. I'm going to try to give Bob a call and let him know also but if you can spread the word I would greatly appreciate it. Hi. It's been hard to catch you on here but then I haven't been around much lately myself. I had a meeting with the management at Farmington Dragstrip today and working on getting something on the schedule for sometime this spring. I have a club meeting tomorrow so maybe I can get a definite date set. Also been trying to contact Mooresville and Piedmont (at Greensboro) but have not had any response from either of them. I'm going to try to contact Rockingham to try to schedule something also. Let me know what may be the best time for you and our other friends down there. Also what tracks in SC are best for y'all? Hi, well I dropped an e-mail to Mooresville about a month and half ago and haven't heard anything back from them so I'm going to try to get in contact with Piedmont up around Greensboro and Pageland to see what I can get set up, or if I can get something set up for this year. I'm not giving up but don't know how to get things really rolling at this point of the racing season. I'm getting ready to get the Grand Prix back out, going with a stock 350 for now so if I do get something set up I'll have something I can race. Let me know if anyone down there is still interested and maybe we can couple a bar-b-que or small cookout if I can get at least one event going. Well I wanted to let you know it's official, I have been elected to the position of Race coordinator. Is there still some interest in having a series of shootouts? I've been trying to get track schedules but they have not been posted yet. I've been checking into are Pageland, Ware Shoals in South Carolina and Mooresville. Farmington and Piedmont at Greensboro. This is all new to me so I'm going in kinda blind but hope to get something going, and I'm going to try to come out of retirement this year, but not with the GTO. Last time I talked to Mike Ford was fall AutoFair, said he sold the the Sunbird and was building a new car, but can't remember what he said he was building.
