Dave from Ponti-World has been very helpful with this problem of mine.
I've managed to source a complete set of left and right hand spindles, hubs, brakes etc from Frank's Pontiac Parts in Cali.
Paid for, now just awaiting delivery.
FYI, these are '63-'64 items, but apparently can be fitted providing everything (from spindles out) are changed at same time.

A costly exercise, but at least they should bolt straight on and be serviceable and safe.
And remove an awful lot of guesswork for someone so new at this...

We finally picked up our beautiful '61 Bonneville, however upon getting it home I've discovered some mechanical issues.
As a result, I'm chasing some parts if anyone out there can help?
Please forgive me in advance for any omissions, I am very new in the classic car scene (2 weeks).
I am chasing the following parts, if possible:-
*2x front spindles
*2x front hubs (standard drums, 5x5 pattern)
Car is a 1961 Pontiac Bonneville
Chassis number (if needed) 861P20578
