    just got a tri-power and need to rebuild the carbs and then install but is it hard to keep in tone? some say yes and some say no..

    my brother has a few Pontiac's and is very good with them. he did the file and sand thing and thought i should do the same but i have been tough smarter not harder so i took them to a polish shop and payed 40ea and man am i glad i did..lol

    it has been fun and allot of work at the same time not to mention the money part. just got the motor and trans back in it and cleaned it up a bit and engine compartment and it just looks so good..with the help of my brother and his mechanic we did it..

    they are original 8 lugs 14"
    225 R 75/14
    Filed each fin down with flat file to get nicks out and painted black. Turned drums and they were ready to go. This was done back in early 90's, still look good - filing was a lot of work. Glad you are bringing yours back to life - I love the GP styling.

    Pontiac fever. I do love my car and enjoy doing small things to it. I forgot how much fun it is to be able to bring this car back to life. thanks to my bother he had the car and it sat for 10 years. I have to say that if i didn't have this car to keep my mind off of my illnest i would be in bad shape. Keep your eyes on this one because it will just look better each time you see it..
