Hi Tom. Upon re-reading the thread, it appears my post (#7) is in response to yours in #6, which was not the case. I do not doubt your findings, I was merely attempting to tell the OP not to assume anything about oiling "myths".

    Tom,
I'm rebuilding a 63 lemans to use as street/race car (low tens) and was wondering if you could answer some questions about the build.

1.Seems like the consensus on here is to use to use ladder bar/coil over rear suspension.

2.I would like to use the stock front suspension for budgets sake, but with improvements to "loosen it up" for the track
Are there polyeurethane front bushings available for the stock front end? heim joint ends for the strut rods?
    springs? shocks?

    3. I can't seem to find definitive information/ parts lists for a front disc brake conversion besides the scare bird stuff. Would like to use a lighter weight set up such as wilwood. Is there a complete kit that is a bolt on from wilwood ?

I'm trying to not reinvent the wheel and would like to use the knowledge of those who have been there and done it.

    Thanks

Tom, I wanted to contact you regarding the 455. I did not get a call from your friend yesterday. Since we spoke, I have sold the intake and EFI components to member of the PY board. I will need to remove everything soon, and we spoke of having the engine compression tested. Once I remove the parts, that would not be an option. Let me know what your thoughts are regarding the interested party. Thanks. Sean.

    Tom -

I would like to entertain the purchase of a V balancer again. I hopefully will be getting a new job stating next week and feel it would be a good time to pick that part up. Im currently fighting a serious vibration problem and at this point want to throw parts at it because its been a long standing issue. I just cant figure out what is wrong with this ****ing car. I had the same issue with the last engine and trans. The only thing that is the same is the balancer and drive shaft.

I have a serious problem and you are the only guy that I think can help me. Since I got Nunzzi's headers on the V motor, I CAN'T get the oil filter off the car~! I assembled the engine and frame together before I stuck the whole thing back in the body. I see on your 1969 Bird with the V motor, you have some kind of 303 oil filter adaptor whereas it screws directly to the block and does into have the traditional turn down oil filter housing adaptor. Maybe this will solve my issue? Do you know where I can get a set up like yours? I can't even get the filter on and off from the top without unbolting the engine mounting bolts. What a pain this has turned into.

    thanks

Les Iden said you may be able to help me. I need to know if the 428HO Long branch cars from 67 had the french clips (retainers) for the bolts on the exhaust manifolds.

    Thanks,
