Hi guys. My 63 Tempest a/t 326 coupe is off and running. Engine rebuilt and starting to look great. Have the tranny in the shop for o/haul and was told I need to replace a governor gear? I think they were able to find one. I was informed today that the bearing retainer needs to be replaced also. I have a 4cy LeMans that I could use for parts. Can I get this part off the 4 cyl and would it work on the v8? Is there one of you that can post a schematic of the v8 tranny so I can be sure what part I'm looking for? The shop said the part is worn and would prefer not to put the current one back on, I believe it attaches to the shaft leading to the converter. Thanks
