Bought my '69 GTO in 1986 for $500. The car has been in various states of repair or modification since. It was my daily driver for many years. Believe it or not I bought the car for it's almost total lack of options. No fluff for me.
Started my machinist apprenticeship while still in High School. Did the Tool & Die thing then went into automotive machining. After several years of that went to work as a machinist for CAT. Have also studied chemistry & metallurgy.
