Just got back from my machine shop and they want to put one sleeve on my 455 block. This would require a 4.3 something bore to accept that sleeve. They assure me it's okay but I am skeptical since a .60 overbore is usually considered not good from what I gather here. I do not think he has sonic testing equipment . You seem to be very knowledgeable on matters such as this and I would certainly appreciate any input you are willing to provide. The owner of the shop is very nice but somewhat casual-says he does it all the time. He mostly builds high end truck pulling motors. Any opinion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,Paul

I need a NGK R5671A-8. if you have these and how many set. Let me know, thanks.

Mike, I posted some pictures of a set of 3.23 gears in the 64-65 section. With your background, could you give me your opinion if they look ok? I'm not really well versed in gears and what looks ok.
Thanks

I went to Sinclair, receiving an Assoc. Deg. while working at GM/Delphi to complete my apprenticeship. Grew up in Dayton, Belmont HS. Just curious, what is your name? Just wonder if I ever had you as an instructor.

.800 maximum valve lift with a 2.00 installed height.

I would sell a set for 300.00. But at 2.00, that's a short installed height. You would have a little over 400 PSI on the seat. What is your rocker ratio? You may run out of spring with that short installed height.

I am just curious, how much are you asking for the spring? I have the dual spring from comp cam 1.645 od with the 250 @ 2.00 installed height. My cam has a .450 lobe lift 55mm. It is a turbo setup on Butler W. P. eheads. Thanks.
