    Hi lfdsteve

I was following your oil usage thread and was curious about the progress ?

I have a similar thread/issue but am fairly certain that my oil underneath (looks somewhat similar to yours after 200 miles) is from my eng

I have also recently been through the compression and leakdown tests (both tested well, although it apparently does not entirely rule out dynamic ring seal/lack of sealing, or valve guide/seal issues for that matter)

Just wondering if you've had any progress with yours...and if it was trans lube, how much was it down ?
My m20 has a small leak from the front, but I believe it is from the front pin to case fit, and hope to address it in the off season with some sealant

I believe I am still trying to get my rings to seat also (mine has been about 1800 miles though)

    thanks
    Steve

Do you need a 71' Shaker? I have one. It needs some work, but it is a 71' not restored from a 76.
