Hey Alan.I would also like to see the clubs join up again, we used to have alot of fun together. I don't have a problem meeting up but it might be harder for Brian, since he works for hisself, and I haven't see or heard from Mike in over a year or two. It seems that we also have a small core of members left that race, maybe 4 or 5 that show up, and then a dozen or so that comes to shows. People are very busy these days with family, jobs, or the poor economy still affecting their play time. Anyway I'll do what I can to help. Have fun Saturday and if given the oppertunity, smack Bruce up side the head for me . See ya. Duck.

Alan I have come to realize that after my dyno adjustments(85/93) vs 96 square and squirters from 37's to 35's. My idle has decrease from 1100 to 950rpm. Also I don't have that occassional backfire.Als I went up the road for a little "blowing out". And throttle response is dead nut on!(Broke the tires loose even when shifting into third or drive.Damn I can't wait to get back to Mooresville.

Yeah I heard that all positions were gone in half an hour. One of the guys at the job got in with his Mustang. Ken got in with his Tempest and Marty and his lawyer friend with the turbo T/A got in, gound that out form Bruce at the last club meeting. Not much going on as I got laid off two weeks ago, been working on the GTO and a 91 Olds that I'm buying. My workmans comp case is still ongoing and I have an appointment with my attorney this morning. Going to park the GP as soon as I get the Olds running, getting to need alot of work as far as the engine and trans, may build a race car out of it and sell it, don't know for sure yet. I painted a couple of parts for the GTO the other day, looks good, still doing body work and trying to find stock seats to go back in it. I'm going my Danny's after I get done in town, we're planning to start on the 72 here in the spring. As soon as I get the chance to get some time on my phone I'll give you a call. Alan

Alan I did not register early enough for the March "Pinks-All-Out" competition. I had worked that night and apparently between the time I laid down and got up, all the 460 positions were taken. What pisses me off is a fellow by the name(IIRC) David Young(ZMax event coordinator) has in touch with me via email several times prior to the event, mostly trying to encouage to rent space(lux boxes, ect,). I guess since I wasn't buying anything he refused to give me the EXACT time the applications for the event would be taken place. Of course I have contacted Jesse Anderson and others who have requested I come and join them in thier pit. What has been happening with you? Haven't heard from you lately.Later,Roger.

Thanks and yes it got it. I really appreciated it and may I apogize for not responding sooner as I have been having some trouble logging in. I picked up the filter at my local NAPA yesterday, even though I haven't gotten around to putting it on yet. Again thanks. Alan W. Dille

I don't know if my response yesterday went through. The filter is a NAPA Gold 1522. I believe it is used on the Cadillac Northstar engine.

I hope this gets back to you, I haven't received a message this way before. The filter is a NAPA Gold 1522. I believe it is for a Cadillac Northstar engine.

Alan I will be taking the 70 to Fort Mills SC. Pro-tune for one of thier chassi dyno tune. I spoke with Nick Spellman of Ashboro NC who races a 70 T/A Butler built RAIV Headed 455. They helped him pick up .4 tenth from the Butler's optimum tune, which is probably is alot better than mine. But anyway I have misplaced your number, so call me this evening after I return. My appt is for 0930 today(Friday) and they said it may take 2-3 hrs depending on the dyno numbers. The guy who was interested in buying my 70 tried to low ball me and I informed him where he could take that offer. I may or may not upgrade to 2" headers depending on what Dan at PRO-Tune suggests. They do alot of bracket engines from NC to Georgia. How far have you gotten on your 71. Later ,Roger
