    I will try to get some pics, but you will have to be patient, its not at my house at this time. the subframe sits so far forward that the engine will have to be slid back in my opinion. I haven't put the engine in, but I will probably make some plates that move the mounts back considerably.

    Hi I'm thinking of using a 70-81 firebird sub frame in my 56, I saw your post and would like to know more about it. like was it necessary to move motor back to mount nose? I work better with pics would it be possible for you to send me pics of the project?
