Hey Dick… My name is Scott. I was referred to you by others on the forum. I need to find a complete period correct tripower setup for a 64 GTO, or find all the parts to put one together. Could you point me in the right direction? I sent you a PM. Thanks!

Sorry to hear the carb color faded. We know this happens when the carbs are used on a daily driver, but it's odd that they faded in storage. I know the finish is affected by the environment and have no idea how you had the carbs stored for six years. The plating on the long rod is zinc, and should not have changed in appearance..

I can redo the carb bodies, but I have to pay the person who does this for me. Please send pictures. I will respond with suggested solutions.

Hi Dick, You did my 65 carbs about 6 years ago. Is the rod that connects the 2 end carbs zinc platted? The platting color is changing and will want to get it replated. Also the carb bodies seem to have changed from a goldish hue to more of a gray. I have not put them on the car yet, they have been sitting on the shelf while my long restoration continues. So maybe its just my imagination. Thankfully we are nearing the end and getting ready to start assembly.

Bob, Sorry for the long delay in contacting you on the carbs. Between a death in my immediate family and the problems on this site, I did not get back to you as I should have. I believe the venturi clusters are "regular" 2 bbl. units, which I can use. Sometimes, I convert them to end carb clusters by pulling out the idle tubes and plugging the holes. You had said $750 was OK on the carbs. Will you accept PayPal "Friends & Family" as payment? My shipping info is: Richard Boneske, 5191 Southwind Drive, Winneconne, Wisconsin 54986. Call or text 920-450-1040. Email is bocoogto@charter.net

Dick, found several venturis and can include with carbs but don't know what is what. What do I have? Numbers on them are 16266, 10574 and 31505. Advise.
