- Born and raised in Los Angeles Southwest side. Always loved cars, and then loved what freedom cars provided. Nothing more important in my teenage life than to cruise the boulevard - which mostly was Hawthorne Blvd with the route running between the A&W on 135th and the Wichstand down on Slauson and Overcrest. Fast cars and good looking girls always kept things very interesting. The Boulevard was also inhabited by nasty police and juvenile patrol - neither of which wanted us out on the street
