One thing on the 68 400 block, it will not bolt in the TA. You will have to use adapters to make it fit. 1970 and up 400's will bolt in no problem.
(as all 455 will)

Not sure how one can blame an intake manifold for not fitting heads that have a large intake port. I'm also not sure why all the ports are made "so big"..... Maybe if they took away their CNC machine...

Any shop that has an alignment rack will allow you to elevate the car while keeping it on its wheels.

Otherwise, if you have a miter saw it's pretty easy to build yourself some wheel stands for...

they blanch ("cook" in water);
then they pre-cook;
