Get a good seal with a metal OD and just put it in with some gray form-A- gasket and then sleep...

Little extra precaution. I would lightly de-burr the leading edge in the timing cover if it has a sharp edge. Not sure how your cover looks there. Dremel tool and cartridge roll to soften that...

Here’s a thread on how I did mine. It’s in sequence after the radiator cooler as Jim mentioned. It’s a stacked plate as well. I put it up front for better air flow, plus it also keeps it hidden....
