I've used the SCT from Eastwood and it made the job easier, I would recommend it. I've been doing this work for a long time and to me its the best tool for the job other than media blasting.

I would try lacquer thinner on a rag, test a small spot first. If your talking about the door glass weather strip I would put that in first .

I used that clear on my Firebird, was told 30 minutes between coats. If your doing two coats I think its 15 minutes between coats. If you get a lot of trash in the clear I would do at least 3 coats...

I finished the hood this week and installed it...

I finished the hood this week and installed it tonite, I like it. Tomorrow I'll work on the front bumper. anyone have any diagrams of the bolts that hold headlight bezels?
