The '69 - '72 style radiator is held in place by the plastic fan shroud. First see if the radiator fits that.
If it doesn't fit you have the wrong width radiator.

On a whim I checked the local Ace hardware & found the tubular rivets there for .20 each. 3/16" x 1/4" is what I used.

It could be an aftermarket fiberglass hood, sometimes those are "close" but can vary slightly from originals. I see it has hood pins anyway.

If you're referring to the large rubber block that is on top of the core support (l & r) on 68-69's then no, 70 didn't use them.

Make sure the wheel cylinders are not rusty/sticking & holding the shoes out slightly. The shoes should touch the top anchor pin with the return springs installed.
