the cloth inserts in the '72s were completely different than the vinyl Comfortweave in the '71s. Here is a pic of that car's interior (the red SCCA car):

nice work, Tom. I'm not usually one for a non-traditional (Pontiac) powerplant swap, but yours is very tastefully done. Bet it's a blast to drive.

1970 uses a pin style attachment on the throttle arm of the carb, rather than the ball stud that is used on the '71 - '74 models

the chrome bezels were standard on the '70 T/As...

the chrome bezels were standard on the '70 T/As and some early '71s. They were chrome on the outside with black on the inner face, up to the "lip". Can post pics if you'd like.
