I will never understand why high dollar...

I will never understand why high dollar restorations can't get the front end painted correctly.The bottom of the nose is wrong. Picky,sure...but just has a different look vs how the factory wanted .....

look on the tab sticking straight up at the 12 o...

look on the tab sticking straight up at the 12 o clock position. there will be numbers on the front and rear of the tab. the rear is the model specific code and the front number is the build date....

yes the 2nd style(if that is what we are calling them) NOS GM spoiler is worth probably $400-600, there are very few of the original style out there. I know GM started making the "repair kit" center...

The boosters are number coded,at least the 1970 and 71 model years were.1970 is 0426 and 1971 is 1957.. I bet 1972 has its own number as well. Plus the yellow zinc most do these in is too shiny. 72...

Norwood is correct on values.. With Pontiacs apparently becoming the current pumped GM brand at the auctions(latest BJ results as evidence) these components are only going to get more expensive..

I agree..12.25:1 compression seems to be pushing it. Definitely race fuel vs the HO @ 9.9:1 compression could still run on readily available fuel... to me,and disclosure..just my opinion, not trying...

CompCams has a roller cam ,something like 226/230, which is a step above the stock 68 cam that runs quite well in a 455. The roller cam is a drop in component but you will have to buy their roller...
