block numbers

I bought a 63 421 short block over the Pontiac parts counter years ago to use as a basis for a SD engine. I have that engine in my shop and it does not, nor has it ever had any numbers stamped on it....

Great looking car. As to the door panels, good luck, they will eventually get them to you if you live long enough. When you do get them they will be beautiful. Only took them 2+ years to get my 61...

lifter sound

To me, I'm old, there is no sweeter sound than the sound of factory solid lifters on a McKeller #10 on an idling 1962-62 421 Super Duty engine. FWIW. Mike. :D
