I drilled and tapped holes in the block wall to use 1/2"NPT to AN10 adapter fittings - I didn't thread the core plug holes-far too big.

Whoever buys it if they are not going to add 4 bolt caps all they need to do if they need added strength while retaining the 2 bolt caps is to run studs and use locktighted in Allen...

The FM4040 (3" main) do have the reliefs in the thrust shoulders. They also have an oiling slot and not just a round hole to line up with the block oil passage.

Great customer service. I had to sand the outside of the 1 piece and was dry as a bone. . Its the only that sealed mine up. The 2 piece and graphite rope seal both leaked.
