It worked out well and would recommend it. Just make sure all the threads are good and run a die over them if they are tight. I guess from shipping they get banged around and the threads get dinged up. They could do a MUCH beter job packing. I had to run a die over the spindle, (3/4 20 die) and the studs for the lug nuts. (7/16 20 die I think.) Going to get that now.

Looks great but do yourself a favor and hit all none disc surfaces with hi temp paint or it will rust quickly especially if in non heated garage with weather fluctuations.

Not to be nit-picky, but your cotter pins are pointed the wrong way, your lug nuts are on backwards, and is that a scratch I see? http://forums.performanceyears.com/g.../icon_razz.gif

Martin Senour cast iron gray works well on the areas where the pads do not make contact. It is high temp and will keep your system looking good.

Nice work man! BTW, your signature cracks me up ... I do it right cause I do it twice. I know that feeling!

I am about 60% complete with mine and I have followed every post regarding this process and it has answered a lot of questions for me and helped make my life easier. I put some clear coating on all the brake parts for now to keep the rust from forming on them. I'll see how that goes. I will paint the calipers if I see rust. Everything else was powdercoated

Going to paint the rims today, Still have the original rims and hub caps. See how the car looks on wheels after 10 month on stands.

Wonder if the 14" rims will fit on with the new rotors? Any way next is the front brake lines, I'll be asking about them.

Nothing really..Like I said make sure your threads are good. You have to re-use the 2 bolts to the "J" hooks. It comes with a new "Boss" bolt for the top.

It does not come with caliper hoses, you will need to buy those seperate, although I think he may now sell at kit with them. Call and ask.

I take it you need a new perportioning(sp?) block and a new master cylynder and booster.

I currently have manual drums all around on a 64 Lemans.

What size are the discs?

They look to be about 11"

I paid $425 + shipping. Forget what the total was. The kit you are looking at is much more complete than the one I got. Even though I up-graded to disc brakes, I'm still trying to keep the car LOOKING as orignal as possible. I will be going with a power booster with the delco-remy stamp. So a kit with a power booster without the stamp is not something I would be looking at.

The kits looks great and looks to be very complete. Check the feed back of the seller and good luck.
