Great list, awesome board.

Any update, estimate or timeframe on those "71 Honeycomb center caps from that sample?

Hey sounds great about that stuff but how about some replacement billet door pulls for all the 79 to 81 camaros and firebird and think vettes..the factory or aftermarket ones just plain break way too easily. And how about a reasonable priced ta aluminum dash or maybe something for the ta that look sharp with autometer gauges to replace the factory junk.??

Way to go, Chris! Even if these parts don't all happen, there's some great stuff coming!

But . . .

How about the 1 1/8" rear anti-roll bar for A-bodies I posted under the "parts you wouldd like to see reproduced" topic? I copied and pasted my original post below (in quotes):

"I've been casually looking into having the 1 1/8" (1 1/4") '72 GTO WW5 rear anti-roll bar reproduced. I don't care much for the aftermarket bars which don't replicate the "look" of the OEM bar. With good used OEM bars going for $500.00+, I figure it wouldn't be unreasonable to have a few made and test the market, so to speak. Thanks to oPh, I've got a good used OEM bar to use as a pattern. I contacted Addco, but they were NOT interested.

A while back, someone on here posted this link to Saner Performance Fabrication:

http://www.sanerperffab.com/

Neither phone number listed on the page works, and several e-mails have gone unanswered.

Does anyone have better info on how to reach Saner, or know of another source for a reproduction bar?

What makes me mad is that through the years I prolly bought at least a half-dozen of these brand new over the counter! Two of them snapped at the RH rearmost control arm bolt hole, and the rest went with cars I sold off through the years."

Is no one else interested in this project???

As I mentioned above, I've had this bar on several A & G bodies in the past and it sure makes them handle well! I just can't stomach the appearance of the aftermarket style rear bars.

Anyone?

Lloyd

Still LOTS more testing to be done before the design can be finalized and the system marketed. Gotta get off my a$$ and get to work!!!

Way too much going on with my Mom and Dad right now, but I'm still hoping to finalize everything by the end of this year (hopefully) http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...s/icon_mad.gif

Sorry for all the delays, guys. I know some of ya'll have been looking forward to an alternative to the Flowmaster transverse system.

Chris, at Norwalk, you made mention of the possibility of someone reproducing the 65 GTO grills in a lighter plastic material. Anything happening on that front ?

70 GTO fenders are very interesting. Any info on if these are a good possibility to get done? I sure would love that option. http://forums.performanceyears.com/g.../icon_wink.gif

Thank's Chris. 428GTO I think someone said a while ago that it was the same one, but I'd rather spend my money with PY(no offense to the parts place but if Chris offers it I would rather support the board for all it gives us).

Any word on those full quarters for the 1967 GTO yet?

jaynjess 12-01-2003 09:56 AM

Any ides on what the price may be for the '70 gto fenders if they do get repro'd?

Held for Ransom 01-26-2004 09:57 AM

Chris, any word yet on the '70 GTO fenders?

Txbobcat 01-26-2004 06:28 PM

I am waiting for the price to go down on the ducktail spoiler before I order one. Another $100 and it will be mine.

428GTO70 02-04-2004 10:30 AM

I am also still interested in the 70 GTO fenders. Not trying to be an annoyance but if a little nudge is what it takes to get these considered then consider this a NUDGE!!! http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...icon_smile.gif Now if I could get the 70 endura on your list too......wow that would be sweet. http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...on_biggrin.gif

How about a reproduction of the rear console that was an option in the 2nd gen firebirds and T/A's

TTOP350 03-14-2004 08:32 PM

Just wondering??? Why can't some of the frontend parts like fenders, hoods and doors be made of aluminum???? for us guys that want a weight reduction..

1964 Sport Wood Wheel cancelled!

Yes!!! I can't say how excited I am to see this projet get cancelled.

Also on the list... new and improved 70 tail light lenses that the metal edge doesn't fall off in your hands.

66 tail light bezels
66 tail light lenses
64-7 latch assemblies
68-9 latch assemblies

Held for Ransom 01-25-2005 05:38 PM

Andre, is the fit of the '70 tail light lenses any better?

Andre 01-28-2005 07:02 AM

I can't say about the fit of the new ones, but I didn't have a problem fitting the old repos either.

Rob80TTA 02-03-2005 01:09 PM

How about radiator coolant overflow bottles for '79 TA's, these are going for over $300 on ebay, just ridiculous. These have disco'd from GM for a little more than a year now, how long does it usually take before the aftermarket begin production??

Formulas 02-20-2005 03:15 PM

70 Firebird interior sail panels would be nice they dry rot from the sun in the back window.

Andre 02-21-2005 08:42 AM

If someone can loan me a bottle, I can investigate getting it reproduced.

JLHarper 03-14-2005 07:29 PM

Anyone know of source for correct size plastic chrome piping for seat backs and seat bottoms?
All I found was small diamenter rolls of chrome plastic piping not correct size in pre-molded pieces.
Thanks....

Any chance we"ll see repo reveal moldings for front and rear. These are the aluminum pieces that sit on the top of the panel. For a 67 GTO

YVEYANT 05-28-2005 08:44 PM

CCass,
How about some more body panels for a 64 and 65 GTO, front fenders, inner fenders, more patch panels, front grills, rear tail panel, rear tail light bezels, center consoles.

74Formula 06-09-2005 08:13 PM

More 74-75 Firebird/Formula parts......door panels, rear window trim(between sail panels), bumpers, tailights assemblies, just a few items I would like to see.

Baron Von Zeppelin 07-12-2005 05:27 PM

The whole Universe is screaming and begging for 1969 GTO trunk lids and 1964 GTO hoods. Every swap meet I have been to for the past 15 years, those 2 parts are the BUZZ words. 1964 deck lids seem very very scarce as well in good condition. The next fender made needs to be for 1965, the next doors should be 64-65. Wish Chris could re-introduce the "repo-remanufactured-restamped" quadrajets for 69 and 70 Ram Air carbs. They were nicely done AND affordable.

Baron Von Zeppelin 07-12-2005 05:31 PM

Sorry, I think I posted previous entry to the wrong thread. Please excuse the rookie here.

YVEYANT 07-13-2005 01:29 PM

I agree, 65 fenders are in high demand. Get on them guys.

66lemmy 08-10-2005 09:58 PM

CCass, what's the status of the 66 GTO/LeMans blower motor switch that is forecasted for the summer time frame?

Pontiacer 08-12-2005 12:02 AM

How about '72 Endura front fenders (a-body). Or at least a complete lower patch with extractor flange.
Also full rear quarters (70-72)
Steel hood (71-72 endura)
