Could someone post a few pictures of their 66 fullsize AC dash. To make a long story short I need to send them to a company to get mine recovered and alas theres nothing left on my core, but they said they could do it with some pictures. If anyone could it would be a great help. thanks, Seth

Yep, that's real 16 year old acrylic lacquer. The car was put back together 16 years ago and never color sanded so that made for a 3 weekend job. That job did a number on my arthritis.

I knew when I bought it that I was taking a real risk with losing my storage. The lesbians next door were already beating the **** out of each other. So now's its f**k fight F**k fight next door, and I get to hear it all.

The 66 GP is going to have to go unless I find a place to put it in the next few days. I've found a few garages for rent around here but they're all 17'6" deep and that isn't going to cut it. And besides I really don't want them unless I can keep them all side by side. I kinda enjoy going down to the garage and seeing all those cars lined up nose out. I WILL someday have at least one of each year and they WILL be all together in one big garage. Just imagine the oil leaks !!

I guess putting a steel building on your property is out of the question?

Just crop or resample your photo so its less than 293k. I frequently have to fix mine so they 'fit'. Photo shop or Corel Photo Paint can easily do this.

I went to Bob's Big Boy in the valley a week ago friday, thats our local cruise-in. I took my 66 GTO convertible. That's when I met Scott and saw that amazing Grand Prix for the first time. What a beautiful car! Drew a pretty big crowd too. The pictures just do not do it justice. And you should hear it run http://forums.performanceyears.com/g...on_biggrin.gif

Scott, sorry to hear the "alternative lifestyle partners" couldn't work it out, its a shame to have to sell that car. If I had more room at my place...

Thank Steve. I think I'm going to take something else up there this Friday so the other cars aren't sitting too long.

Actually, the place to hear it run is from the inside when you open those secondaries up.

I knew when I bought this car that I took a big risk with where to put it if something happened next door. The dykes drive big trucks … of course ….. and they can’t get either of them under the door and their garage is butt to nut with my garage. It looks so cool right now with all 4 Pontiacs lined-up side by side, nose out. I sometimes take all the car covers off of them just so I can stand there and look at them all, and look at how the 61 morphs into the 63 and the 63 into the 66. I can't say that there's much resemblance between the 66 and the 2004, but at least it’s a Pontiac.

I noticed today when I came home that my neighbor had a bunch of moving boxes next their door, so it looks like its going to happen.

Anyways, I'll see you Friday. What I'll be driving .... who knows.
