10.80 at 129.31, but that was with nitrous. That is my streetcar.

So far 13.50@99MPH, but made Lots of changes that dropped my 60' times and increased my MPH, so i redid all the stuff that killed the 60' times and left the MPH stuff alone, so hopefully now i will go faster :P looking for 12.90s-13.00. No Nitrous here yet will do that after i hit the 12s :P

11.61 @ 120.32 at just over 3100 lbs. way back in July of 1988. 462", street ported RA II heads, 1000 cfm Therm Quad, TH400, 4.56 gear, and a 30" tire.

12.20 @ 109 mph on DOT slicks and through the exhaust. Car weighs 3870 with driver and has seen plenty of trips up and down the road!http://forums.performanceyears.com/g.../icon_wink.gif That is with a mild 400 motor.

My firebird @ 3800lbs race weight with a .030 over 428 ran 12.08@109 with 4.33's and 28X12.50 street et's. I ran this combination back and forth to work and raced it for 7 years, I never touched a thing.

11.88 at 113 with a very streetable 406. 12.64 at 107 with a 400 (tow car). And 10.14 at 129 but that is a more of a racecar than a streetcar.

12.30@111mph '78 FB, 3980lb, 3.73, T-350, stock converter, 462, 750 Q-jet, 296H comp cam, with regular 275/60 radials and deep staged. I'm pretty sure I could drop .5 with a converter and tire change.

Ran a best of 7.10 in the eighth mile with this cam, so that should have been an 11.10-11.15 full pass. Best of 11.65 @ 114 and an average 11.80's for almost 16 yrs using the same cam and lifters.
Comp Cam 305 magnum in a 455 with oddball d-ports, 28" DOT tires and mufflers, 4:10 gear wieghing around 3400lbs. (the cam still is in great shape!) street driven |

About a decade ago 4 yr old motor 11.9 @ 113mph in 100deg humid WI cheesehead weather with a Crane 290/300, 455ci, 6X-4, Torker, 850dp, HEI, 3.90's, and a Switch Pitch trans. Drove 150 miles to the track one way, 3800lbs.

yeah, at kennedale. just a mild 455, nothing fancy. full interior, but i no longer have the car, sold to a guy from germany, building a same combo in a 64 tempest currently at the body shop..NO NOS..yet...

10.83 @ 124 with a 6.87 in the 1/8th with a Comp Cams Magnum 305 in a 455. Car weighs 3345. Ran a best of 6.76 in the 1/8th in real good weather. I haven't driven it on the street for a few years but it does have a hydraulic cam.

Steve, I had the old style 1030 cfm Barry Grant 4150. The cam I got was from Butler, I think it was an ultradyne. I think the lift was 531-550, I'll see if I can dig up the cam card. The car was very quiet and it ran good.
