Sorry guys, that's the only pic I have of the car, when I see the car most likely this July at the Atlantic Nationals, I will take some more. :)

I kinda like it in a way. But I would need a Mr. T starter kit with heavy gold chains to make it right.

Cdoggy81, that's quite the portrait, were did you dig that up from?? your family album. :D :D :D , but seriously, yeah I've meet the owner, not a redneck or crack head type, but a real respectable will cut guy, with a nice wife an two well mannered kids, well lets put it this way, if something should ever happen I just as soom be on his side. :)

Grills look like a 71 set, but the amber lights are 73 ?
I like it for a custom car and I bet it looks even better in person.

Yeah, I had a mullet, and even had a rat tail with the end dyed blond back in the 80's, sure I got blue arms, so what, that doesn't make me a bad person. :D

I find it interesting to look at,simply because that's the way so many of these cars were done up in the late 70's to mid 80's.(and this one has survived in NICE condition)

Go back & thumb the first 10 issues Thunder Am magazine & that's ALL you will see!

Back then.you couldn't find a 70-73 T/A that wasn't all modified or just plain BAGGED & dowdy looking.

It likely had big & little aluminum slot mags on it originally (note the jacked rear suspension) & somebody upgraded the wheels in the 90's.

All it needs is a set of Thrush Outsiders,a real wood "Walnut" console box cover & shingles on the back window.

From what I can see,a stock repaint with stripes & about 2 days of unbolting non-OEM parts is all it needs.

I didn't notice any real serious or HACK type mods,so it's just waiting for the next owner to throw away all of the TACKY 70's modifications.

You may be a redneck if your muscle car is jacked up like a 4x4.

He needs to lower it. Looks hickabilly 1' off the ground.

I think he needs more air in the shocks!

Those air shocks will fit your thread for how it was done in the seveties too.

Only A Pontiac guy would put his head that far under the hood.... who else would be lookin at cyl head codes :cool:

It looks like the chin spoiler could be a custom fab unit in aluminum or stainless steel.
Kind of an interesting concept,if it actually is.

Notice the power window switch delete/ashtray in the console?

ugly front lower spoiler.....should be original and black (or if really original, polar white or lucurne blue).....

cool car anyway, though I think the eagle and airbrushed stuff shouldnt be on the car, its done quite well (applauds to the airbrusher), though it just shouldnt be on this (or any) car.....

and er, here in holland, we'd call that lifted car a german car, as most germens tend to rise the rear of the car up with high-jackers, put crappy rims under the car with spacers so it looks like its very wide, a white spraycan painted front and a black rear with yellow spoiler or something like that. and offcourse fuzzy dice on the mirror, chains- steering wheel, a blue painted console, the american flag on the 'speaker-shelf' (dont know the US translation), and a german flag sticker on the rear bumper.....

but all in all, I love a black trans am (clone), and from the side it looks cool as you cant really see al the airbrush stuff....

Who cares what people think of the car, the owner likes it, and that's all that matters.
I have an airbrushed hood that I ran on my 1974 Trans Am for quite a few years, only now, I have a ZL-1/L88 fiberglass hood on the car.
If I want a stock car, that's what I would buy, if I want a modded car, I would get that. In the end, it's all up to me.
Gee, post pictures of any car, these guys here will find something wrong, or something that they don't like about the car.

Yep, my 68FB has a 77TA shaker scoop...and may get the 77 fdr vents soon...but i wouldnt "jack it" :D

That's a damn fine machine. Done with good taste.

Thanks WarbirdTA, nice to see someone else that see's this the way I do, I'am not into it's got to be exactly the way it came from the factory, but I have great respect for the one's that are.
Now for me I've been to quite a few show's an there's alway's alot of these's an that's an that get's boring, but every once an awhile something will really stick to ya, an this one is one that has stuck to me.
For those of you that don't like the car, well that's your opinion an so be it.:p
An for those that do like it, if it brought a little enjoyment to your day, then that's great, an good enough for me. :)
