Anyone else buy something from Goquick? I bought a SD 2x4 manifold from Byron Mcelfresh.. My check was cashed over 2 months ago but I have yet to see the manifold. Byron, did you send it yet? If so, what is the tracking number?

I bought a NIB comp 290b6 cam from him,he cut me a good deal on it,and it got here so quick I'd swear he sent it before he got my MO.

I believe him to be good guy,and seems to be a board member in good standing here,if there are problems with your deal,he'll straighten them out I'm sure.

bought a roller cam,came very fast,packed great.i sent a moneyorder to mr pushrod and the post office lost the thing for almost a week and a half.took about 10 days for a priority 2-3 day letter to get to him.my self i'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

Known Byron for a couple of years now. Good guy. Might want to try contacting him.

I've called him about it 3-4 times in the past couple months and each time he says it will be sent out the following day. I'm getting tired of calling. This was an expensive part! I know he frequents this board often, maybe he will post to give me the status.....

TTT- The issue is still not resolved. I'm getting no response to my emails or private messages.

It's been so long, I don't even need the manifold anymore. I just want my money back.

I was supposed to pick up some Grandville parts from Byron and he even gave me directions to his house (he doesnt live far from me)
A dishonest person wouldnt give directions to his house. Byron, if youre reading this sorry I havent had time to swing by and pick up those parts. If you pitched 'em, my loss.

I have also sent money (paypal) and have not recieved the RA V rods.
I have also sent 5 or 6 Emails PM's and replies to his original post (it all goes). I had intial contact and one e-mail saying he had forgot to send. But no responce in the last couple months. Anyone have a phone # I am a patient person but........ it has drug out long enough.

Maybe a dishonest person wouldn't give directions to his house but I would think an HONEST person would post or reply to clear this up! I work just as hard as the next guy for a paycheck, why should he hang onto my $410 for more than 2 months? My family could have put that money to good use in that time!

Court? That doesn't sound good.

He caught a father/son team stealing parts off his race car.
They were relatives of the local sheriff or something.
Charged Byron for chasing after and run'n them off the road to catch'm, or something like that.

This isn't about Byron's problems, this is about him not shipping an expensive part AFTER 2 MONTHS of my check clearing!!! And no response to my emails or phone calls! Prior to my purchase, when I inquired about his parts, he always wrote back immediately.

I sent another email and left another voice mail. I probably have $20 in long distance calls to him!

Anyone have any ideas? It is becoming clearer to me that I've been ripped off.

I paid with a personal check but am now seeing the benifits of PAYPAL. If the vendor doesn't ship the part, you get your money back.

Sorry to hear about that. I know if I were to intentionally short change someone my thinking would be I sure as hell dont want them to know where I live. Unless, I moved around alot.

I know Byron pretty well, usually talk to him every couple of weeks at the least. I'll give him a ring today and have him get ahold of you guys. I know he has been extremely busy..............but I understand your concern as well. Don't worry, he isn't the kind of guy to stick anyone.

Any news from Byron? I still can't believe he doesn't post or email to clear this up. The board says he visits here every day so he must have noticed this post!!!

Guys, sorry but I haven't been able to catch up with Byron. Will keep trying but wanted to let you know I hadn't forgotten. Still can't believe he will not take care of things, has always been a stand up Pontiac guy in the past.

Well, I see he made 3 posts on the board today and 14 posts yesterday, so I don't think he can still claim not to have had the time to send the intake.

We are going on 3 months since my check has cleared.

He is a good guy. Came to Indiana, towed us to Ohio and KY, and pit crewed when our truck was down.

Well that was 6/5/07 was told Refund Check in the Mail. Checked the mail again today.... nothing. I'm thinking small claims court. anyone know this Guy... I would like to keep this civil...

Just an update,
I was told that the Rods was lost in the mail and would get money when he got money. Then he emails saying that it was returned with the lable torn off and asked for my address to send it too. I sent that too him a couple months ago.... Still no rods. sent him a PM over a month ago.... no reply.... Looks like I am screwed on this deal. It has been ongoing for a year now. I know this guy posts here daily, I don't understand why he don't just square up. I have a hard time believing the same part coud be lost in the mail and returned multiple times. I have had very good luck with PY members and have bought and sold several thousand dollars worth of stuff. This has been the only deal with a problem. If any other PY members know this guy, tell him to clean up his deals and not smear the PY community... and its service and commitment to others.

John, I sent those rods to the address you told me to send them . I also informed you if you didn't get them to let me know. That's been how long ago and now months later you say you still don't have them? Why didn't you say something asap when I sent them last time? I don't have the reciept for shipping this time after all this time.

I have sent you PMs, You said they were lost, then a few months later you said they came back and didn't have my address, I sent you that, and pm'ed when I did not get them. But never got a responce the last time, Look back through my posts & PMs to jog your memory.

8-22 You had got the rods back and I sent you a new shipping address.
10-9 I asked what was up with them
11-20 I asked again.
Don't say I didn't try to contact you. And I have never seen a tracking #.

Sounds fishy to me. After all the trouble with this, you didn't keep the shipping receipt? Now you get an attitude with John? As an innocent bystander I can tell you this isn't playing well for you.
