I learned a new trick today; if you are browsing rockauto and see a particular part is available as AC delco, enter the part number into gmpartscirect.com. It may even turn out cheaper, even with their high shipping fees. I saved some money this way on 2 parking brake cables today. (about $10.)

I love Rock Auto. I looked around for prices on struts for my Volvo. They were about $10 cheaper than anyone else. And I didn't have the discount code.

many of these codes will work but the easiest thing to do is just go to google and search rockauto discount code, there you will always find an up to date code.

as for buying from them their s&h is actually really cheap, **as long as your items are shipping from the same warehouse**

i just bought a hub and bearing for my 01 elantra plus 2 days shipping was just over 100..i have 2 local auto parts stores by me, one sold to car quest so they suck now and the other is a little pricey...they wanted 200 for the bearing, hub and to press in the new bearing..

buying from rock auto is going to save me a good 50 bucks.

I always look there first. Prices are always less.

Don't think I'll deal with the Rock any more.

I ordered a exhaust system for my truck along with a cap and rotor, spark plugs and wires.

Then they billed me for three different shipping fee's.

One for the exhaust which is prepackaged so I kind of get it.

Another for the spark plugs.

And another for the Cap, rotor and wires, because they came from a different warehouse then the spark plugs and exhaust system.

What I saved in gas and discounts went to shipping. uhggg!!

If your items dont come from the same warehouse the shipping costs add up.

just got to be careful with the multiple item orders. they do let you know if they ship from different locations. sometimes you need to select a part from a different supplier to get the shipping from one location--the price difference may still end up less than the shipping.

X2!! I found that out the hard way. It would be better if it was a flat rate simailar to Summit or Jegs. I hav had two boxes from the big guys with only one shipping fee.
