I guess the Bengals lost on purpose again.

I dont speaka despaniola, what does ocho mean ? Zero? Loser was blaming the field conditions at the meadowlands last week.
The Bengals were looking past the Jets, and I hope the Colts do the same thing.

They won't go any further regardless of who they play against. Enjoy the playoffs while you're in them... for one more game.

Defense and ball control wins games. The Jets have the #1 Defense and #1 Rushing Offense in the NFL. When are you non-believers going to wake up and realize the Jets are a good team?

the jets are a good team, but we will see what they do against indy nex week when peyton and the regulars play the entire game and play for real!

I'm no Jets fan. Being from the Philly area I hate EVERYTHING New York, but I do have to hand it to them. They went on the road with a rookie QB and won in the playoffs. That's an accomplishment.

That being said, beating Indy in their dome is another story.

Watch out for those San Diego Chargers though, everybody's so hot on the Colts that the Chargers are flying under the radar. They're playing really good football right now. They're also the only team that can keep up with Indy in scoring points.

THe Jets will not "do it" this year.But this year will be invaluable experience for Sanchez.Next year though.....

Jets vs. Chargers next week. It should be a great game.

I would love to see the Jets send Phillip packing.
If he was the QB for Colts I would probably like him but he is not so I do not. lol

The Jets were beaten twice by a team, the Miami Dolphins (7-9) that didn't make the playoffs. They'll lose to the Chargers.

By that rationale they should have lost to the Bengals. We'll see what happens. That's why they play the games.

Where the Jets will definitely lose to the Colts. It took 3 missed field goals bya kicker who missed 3 all season to give the Jets the win. Luck runs out next week. Guaranteed!

Wow, the Jets pulled it off? I missed the game because I wasn't overly concerned who won.
Wish I would have watched it now.

Maybe the Chargers should have worn their powder blues.
Seems like they have never donned the throwback uniforms in the playoffs and it jynxes them.

1)They were held out because there was no point in risking them.....since we're going to need them in the playoffs. You know, that tourney to get to the SuperBowl? I'm sure you've heard of it.
2)I think the Chargers will roll the Jets.
3)Getting to the 2nd round of the playoffs means absolutly nothing...especially considering how you got into the playoffs.

But if Joe Namath were to be named "Honorary Captain" of the Jets, and Don Shula were to be allowed to contribute to the Colts game plan, then there would be some purpose for it.:D

Nothing so noble. I just hated seeing the Jets celebrate beating the Colts this season when the Colts were using people from their 2nd and 3rd strings. I want to see an honest game between the two of them with their star players on the field.

Jets can't be the Vikings.

They're not playing the Vikings. The Vikings need to worry about Drew Brees and company. The Saints looked really good.

I just hope we get the chance to find that out.

You must mean PRO football. College football is my game. :) As someone that doesn't follow pro ball, I only hear of him as the guy that retires and comes back. Someone I know was talking yesterday about him retiring to beat the steroids tests, but coming back after he's detoxed. :eek:

The only team I follow is the Colts. Notice the announcers always say "Peyton Manning", his full name when they talk about him?

Personally, I doubt that, but the Jets have been impressive this year. I believe it will end against the Colts....:)

Quite possibly.But as we now know thanks to Mr.GTO,it's more important to lose in the first round than move on in the play-offs.
