1964 INSPECTORS GUIDE
 

Any interest for a copy of the 1964 fullsize pontiac guide book. getting a cost in a few days. Have no idea where i got this one but nobody sells them or heard of one. Also can the hobby use more wheel studs for the 8 lug drums.I received only one request since sept.and that was Jeff Miller from Roush racing. would need to order 2000 for a good price. thanks let me know. John - I would probably be interested in one -

(PS - I would not recommend that you put that '64 wood wheel in the wash machine. They tend to shrink during the spin cycle).

Vince,facts and part numbers that where on the assembly line, measurements of frames, crayon color markings on the frames. Some items like the radiators had a production line number different from the parts book. correct markings on the drive shaft . part numbers for springs and shocks on different optioned cars etc. John

$70.00 set up charge for the 1964 inspectors guide and a $7.50 cost per book. min of 20, about 14.50 ea not counting shipping/tax, with weak interest not worth going forward. Same said for the 8lug wheels studs. John

8-LUG have you thought about asking the hosts if they would buy a few cases? Bet they would sponsor an order of 25, and the printer might have a few extras... just a thought.

PF-7 filter labels...pm me how much..the 8-lug studs - are the RH or LH and how much? Include that in your pm.

Anyone know which wheel stud I could get that is about 1/4" longer than the factory stud on a stock 5-lug rear axle?

I can't help wondering why our host plus Ames etc are not stocking the wheel studs?

With all due respect to you John, I would not know that you are an option to source them? I would be looking on the PY website first, then Ames then starting to worry where I can find them if they don't stock them.

Even if they don't actually stock them but they had them listed as a part, surely they could buy them in as required? I think you call that "drop shipping?"

I think there must be a lot of parts available from sources such as you but the general enthusiast has no idea how or where to source them whereas a central source such as PY can easily arrange it simply by having them on their website.

...Did I read that stevep thought the print was too small?? Hey, grand-dad: Walgreen's has 100 pairs of readers at $3.99 a pair; I even saw one pair with the Polish flag on the arms, so you'll look even smarter when you wear them!

John, no i dont, and never remembered where i got the full size 64, 15 or so years ago.some numbers of parts on the production line are not in the parts book, which makes it a real nice guide to have. Thanks again John Misny

I bought 2 1966 Inspector's guides from Ebay and got 2 Accessorizers! I am waiting for a return email from them.

I received mine the other day. Excellent book and well worth it!!! We are all lucky to have a person like you in the hobby. Thanks John.

After I put in a complaint to Ebay, they sent them right out and Ian in Australia already has the one that I sent him.

BTW, they are fine!

Same thing happened to me, I just contacted them thru the auction page that I was SUPPOSED to get, and they sent a new one right away. They were also going to send return postage for the wrong one, but by the time they did it would cost more than the book, so they said "keep it for your inconvenience." Now if I could just get them to do that with a full set of stainless brake and fuel lines...;););););)

They didn't respond until I complained to Ebay. I called Inline Tube and they said that it was not them and they could not help.

I now have to buy the 65 guide from PY.
