128 over 72--what's yours? BP.
Mine's been climbing a little over the past couple of yrs.
102/60 BP 51 Pulse 98.8 Temp. 6 month check up last friday.
I was thinking 128 over...thats quite the bore job...lol
Too high. I need to see the Doc.
Last time it was check back in Dec it was 117 over 70 and i'm 100 lbs over weight.
BP RANGE has been 88-138 OVER 57-98. Obviously the good readings indicate healthy vein&artery&heart while the bad readings indicate readiness, digestion, elevated enthusiasm, etc.
I'm more concerned with the HEARTRATE: 59 through 102, whereas 88-95 have been the evening norm WHILE I'M RESTING! not good. Still get 88-90 in the evening laying on the carpet, with pillows and relaxing. Since relaxing does not get 88 down to 60, I'm experimenting with discovering what "Modulates" my Heartrate downward. So far the only factor is to skip dinner or eat a super-small dinner. :ranger: HIS |
At 60 my blood pressure was 117 over 70 last time I checked (a few months ago). Resting heart rate is typically about 55. Cholesterol-that's another story!
Close as I can remember.....110 +- over mid 60's.
For those who have high BP or concerned about it.....cut your sodium intake to 2000mgs per day. Try and cut it less if possible and dont consume it all at one time. Trust me on this.
Im on BP meds and my BP is all over the place. Right now Im tackling another health issue but the BP thing is next. |
Im still in recovery from the West Nile Meningitis I contracted last June, so I get my BP checked a lot, and check it myself twice a day. Usually in the mid 120's/low 130's over a low 70/low 80 with a heart rate of mid 60 to low 80. I am completely off the amiodarone and coreg I had to take during the dialysis, so those numbers are all mine without any meds. Ill be 60 this year, so those numbers arent to bad.
My BP with me on medication is 110 over 70. I have been 200 over 140 with out the meds.:)
110/70....resting heart rate in the high 50's ...not bad for a fat a$$ coming on to 55
mine is 128/78 .. once in the Club house though..... hehe
Mine is typically 110/70-ish. When I allow my eating to go unabated it rises a little. Still within normal limits. My resting heart rate is in the 70s. Not too shabby for a fat SOB.
130/80 It has been as high as 145/95
I stuck my arm in the sitdown BP station at the grocery store as we shopped. My heart rate was low 70s with the 128/72. When I exercised regularly back in the day I believe it was around 100 over 60-something, under same conditions. It's been elevated to where it is for about a yr I guess.
104/62
Was 128/87 before taking Serrapeptase. |
Just curious, how long have you been taking the serrapeptase, and what dose? What did you start taking it for?
Last time it was checked 2 months ago it was 120 over 80.
Blood pressure the day after hip surgery earned me extra time in the hospital: 77/44
120/80 ,nurse just left the house. I had to get checked out for my new life insurance policy.
About 12 years ago while going through a divorce it was about 200/105 as I remember. My Dr. was freaking out. I told him to wait till the divorce is over before starting me on anything. It seems to stay JUST low enough to keep me off of meds since then. |
91/66, pulse is 66. My pulse used to be 52 back when I used to play non-american football ;-)
Also a word of caution, make sure that the readings are done correctly, especially those who show high readings and are on meds. My friend was put on meds, and it turned out the cuffs that were used to take the reading on the sphygmomanometer were too small and always showing high readings.
Mine was 146/100 last week. Im on meds for it but may have been elevated because I was in a lot of pain at the time. Up until then its been 130/80 or there abouts. Which is quite a bit lower than it was before I started taking meds for it. I think every male on my fathers side has had high blood pressure. My great uncle died because of it many years ago.

I had a nurse taking mine and she took it 3 times over a 20-30 minute period. The 3 readings as I remember them were 128/88 126/84 120/80. She said they take it 3 times because many times it drops after the first reading. Because of my past high readings I know I always psych myself out when getting my pressure taken. Then the added pressure of knowing I might get rejected for insurance if it is too high. On many trips to the Dr. in the past I know they have taken my BP 2 or 3 times for this same reason. As I remember it always dropped after the 1st reading. |
Seems obvious to me that a person with thick fatty skin will dampen the vein/artery expansion contraction, when compared to a thin-skinned, boney fella.
So I wonder if the BP method has a correction factor for %body fat? |
Same grocery store, same machine. 129/67 69 BPM
pressure will vary from left arm to the right one,not sure about mass tho
100/65, pulse at rest 62, age 53, height 6'4.5" weight 217.
And I do a lot of work to keep it this way. JohnnyB |
130/95, the lower seems to go up and down between 100 - 89. Pulse 70 - 45. Went into the infamous wall, burnt out the doctors called it, about 2 years ago. Probably been banging my head against that wall for quite a while without knowing it.
I had a partial physical and my office BP was 100/70. I feel better.
I just checked as I sit here and surffing. 105/65 pulse 65 I think thats pretty good for a 42 year old that has a stressful job.
