Billet Pontiac mini DRCE type head at PRI.....
I saw it.....then I found out who's it was.....and I molested every port. Should be a game changer for nitrous queers. Still won't outrun turbo guys with e heads lol.....and for the price I could start three small business 's....holy crap .

Sure was purty wasn't it.
|
Which booth? I'm going tomorrow and would like to see it!
|
if you had plumbers money you wouldn't need 3 small businesses

I can tell by how shiny they are that I can't afford them. Interesting to see who is retiring the E heads to try them out.
|
Very Nice Looking head that would bolt down on a Pontiac Block?
Bolt pattern looked right Tom Vaught |

Start to finished product 3-1/2 months! The ports still need to be finished. Gaby and him talked and made some nice improvements and will be a nice addition when finished. |

Where you think he got that idea? :) Looks a lot like a Ford PS head but shrunk. When you buying a set, Jack? Tom Vaught |
I would definintely put spacers on the outer head bolts if there is room.
|
Looks nice.Who cares how much they cost?If money was a concern you would be running a small block chevy.

All of that and more has been already worked out. |
Jack, you going to race a class, or still just a heavy azzzzzzzz T&T car?
Cool deal though. |
Think about how much hell you caught over the $12K boutique E-heads Jack. Imagine what the naysayers are gonna say about those:rolleyes:

Looks like things are heating up for 2014 |
Very cool. I was wondering what head you've been subtly hinting at in your posts :cool2:
Good luck! |
How hard would it be to get a 4.500 bore space dart little chief head cast without head bolts, stretch it .1200 and drill holes for a Pontiac block? Wouldnt that be close to what this head is as well as the warp6???? Not rocket since...

From concept to finish was 3-1/2 months I would has them in my hands a week ago but he asked if he could take them to PRI and I said yes of course. Pontiacs TTFMF!!! |

No, just a couple foggers for this local heads up eighth mile class that I run, a lot of nice cars and the people are cool to race with also! |

Not knockin it Jack just curious about pushrod angles etc.. Approx ci and intended rpm range would be interesting info as well. BTW what happens if you get beat by EHTTFMF??? or omg CVwhat? Seriously...good luck with the new program. Wish it was NA pro stock level for comparison purposes but I guess even plumbers budgets have limits.(why I've chose turbos) |
Quote:
3460 / 6.5 = 532.31 ci's Should be 1250-1300 HP N/A Oh, wait he would have to run against the warp6's heads up. Stan |
Yea, Jack, trade the 65 in for a ex pro stocker and go head to head against kre NA.
|
Those heads have too many valve cover bolt holes. If I couldn't use my existing Pontiac valve covers, not sure I'd be interested. Added expense of buying new valve cover is unreasonable.:D:D:D

Now you have a head, and with Gaby finishing them you should really have a nice NOS package. Great Job, Jack and Gaby (and Visner). Tom Vaught |
You gonna use a ported Northwind intake?
