Another GTO In the Family
Well, my son and I have found his GTO. A sweet Impluse Blue Metallic six speed with black interior. Made the deal today, now waiting on the shipper to bring her home! My son won't be sleeping for the next several nights!
Here is a link to the ad. More pics when she gets here. http://www.lightningmotorsports.net/...228225698.veh# BJ |
Congrats to your son Overuld. Looks great in that color. Hope he really enjoys it.

Nice! Starting to miss my '04.
|
NICE!

Love that color...and a good price as well for a M6
|
He will enjoy that one.....a great color too.
Is he going to do performance mods or keep as stock? |

Nice color! I enjoy my 06, I'm sure he will love it. Just currious what makes it extremely rare? Looks to be in real good condition. Congrats!!
|
Looks like they've already took it down from their website.
Anyway, you know I'm partial to the earlier cars, but this one sounds very nice! Tell him I said Congrats! I hope to see it soon. |
The best color!
Nice ride. With some LTs, catback, and a cam that car will really move. |

That is very sweet.

Sharp color. Congrats!:)

Great looking car, good luck with it.

Congrats on the new car. I bought a 2005 GTO a few months ago. Six speed trans with 18's, bone stock with only 10K miles on it. I love it, although the sound system could be better.
|
Nice looking GTO, great color!
|
Oh man that's nice. I do like the blue interior on these cars, but the black is just as nice!
Where'd the GTO FRC's go? Did they have to go for the strut tower brace? |

OVERULD
Very nice car. I have to ask, should we call your son OBJECTION....get it? Have fun with it and keep us posted here, not just on the other site. |
I like it ponchjoe! I will encourage him to register here and join the board! We found out yesterday that the carrier is running a bit behind, so it won't get picked up until Monday, which means it won't get here until late Tuesday or Wednesday morning.

She arrived this morning. My son can't stop grinning!
Sorry Chris, no burnout straight off the trailer. Trying to set a good example for my son. We will be going through her with a fine tooth comb and doing some detail work this weekend. Wow. Sweet ride.
Tell him to register on here! What exhaust setups were you looking at? |

A previous owner went straight, welded S/S pipes from the cats to the tips so it sounds like something out of Dukes of Hazard right now. He wants to do a set of Kooks ceramic coated long tubes, high flow cats, and then an X or H pipe and either some Flowmasters, Corsa or Borla with stock tips. He may have to save a little before he can go the full Monty, but in the interim, we may just have an X or H pipe and some Flowmasters installed to tone it down and eliminate all the popping and backfiring when you let off throttle. Very nice car! |
Pigeon Forge?
|
Jerry, I actually forwarded the flyer on that to Miles this afternoon to see if he wanted to go, but he has to work that weekend and, no, he told me I couldn't swap cars with him that weekend!
He's already put a hundred miles on it this afternoon showing it to his buddies. BJ |

Won't break the bank either. |
Oh man, some Corsa mufflers behind a set of long tubes would sound flat out amazing! Borlas aren't a bad choice either.
Flowmasters sound good, but they flow like caca. |
