Cool!
How's that boring bracket racing? :D Does your track have a 'bracket national' type of event now? Saw you won at CCD awhile ago also. :) |

That boring bracket racing is good! Lol! It doesn't matter what kind of racing it is as long as you get to make passes down the track. I find it more exciting as a driver because there is more involved driving both ends of the track. It's like a chess game at 100+ mph. Yea I went down to CCD one weekend and took a little of their money home. :) Do you mean like NHRA's Indy bracket finals? Yes, being we are now IHRA Div 5 we have a bracket finals in Michigan. It should be a real good time. |
How "slow" is the spare engine and is it going to Norwalk?
|
Congrats! Winin' and makin' money. Cool
|

Thanks again guys!

Good that backup motor can fill in and keep you in the money... Good drivin certainly helps... Congrats!
back in the pre IA block and e-head days i knew a guy whos backup 406 shortblock was in his car @85% of two seasons vs a couple 470+ inch shortblocks... sadder part was 406 was only about a tenth slower using cam, gear and convertor better suited to the bigger motors(ported RA4 heads). No one could convince him to just optimize the 406 and focus on racing... his failed big motors hurt his point standings. |
Congrats!
|
great job rick!!!!
