Video: LS7 Grand Am
This is a very short video of the Grand Am driving when I had it at the alignment shop. I have been driving the car for about 2 months, but still have a few more things to finish such as the interior and some minor electrical leftovers. The new wheels will be ready to bolt up in about one week.

Bear w me here. I'm posting the following pix for all to view the subtle details of this excellent build. Unfortunately I'm only able to post 1 pic per post @ this time.
Nevertheless check out the details. Ex: Note the '71/'72 (?) exhaust tips...etc. http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...0&d=1424017282 |

Sounds tame, to be such a Beast. Love the car and the hard work you have put into it. Been following your progress for quite a while.

Grand Am Video P
Wow, I log back in and the post grew exponentially. I appreciate the interest Alvin. I'm glad to see it well received, and thanks for posting it on the A-Body site as well. I have tried numerous times in the past to get on that site with no luck? I like the statement you made regarding the LS haters. I hope people just enjoy the fact that I built a '73-'77 A-Body in a sea of '69 Camaros. In regards to the exhaust tips, those were custom built back in 2004 and are suppose to look like the GTO splitters. I am going to redo them this year to increase the overall diameter of each pipe. The exhaust note is actually decent, not too tame or rowdy. Very liveable when just cruising, but holy sh*t when you nail the throttle it changes character quickly. I will be posting a lot more pics in about a week or two.

Looks great and sounds fantastic. Great job.

Stobin, I love car. Is that the original Ascot Silver or did you change it to a different silver. My car is in the body shop and I don't really care for the original silver on it now, reminds me of a champagne color and I'm considering painting it black. But after seeing yours I may have changed my mind, the color really looks great. Thanks

Was a request on the ABody board for more videos like Dyno pulls and extended driving...
|
The color is 2002 BMW Silver. It is metallic, but not a high content metallic. I am very happy with the color. It looks correct on the car.

My kind of car…would have liked it more if it was a Grand Prix…i never warmed up to the weird looking front of the Grand am…but of course that is just a matter of personal taste...
