Macho T/A Reunion
 

I went to a local show today, where they had a Macho T/A reunion, and had Dennis Mecham there signing autographs. There were a dozen or so Macho T/As, as well as other Firebirds, Trans Ams and GTOs, and even a 68 Beaumont!

Thx for posting the auction link. Looks to be same pics posted on the web for several yrs now? Would be interesting to have someone who was present at the recent event comment on present condition of all cars show on auction pix collection.

That Outlaw Turbo TA is interesting...among most of the others...all appear to be "Mint" and good condition.

Also: Utah seems to be the latest theme...we watched Hell on Wheels episode last night which was topic of where in Utah the Terminus for the Trans continental railroad was to be located...

Question on the auction Macho: where's the A/C compressor? Relocated or removed? CR if was possible to have A/C w Turbo setup offered back then. My WAG is compressor was removed "tossed" as a sacrificial part of increasing performance? :p

If you own a Macho T/A, aren't you contractually obligated to sport a 70's porn stashe?

The A/C compressor is still used in the original factory placement. #199 does not have the original engine or H-O Racing turbo set up in it currently. Rob has the original engine and turbo set up in his garage that goes with the car in the sale.
