Best server in town makes it top three
Well just wanted to say a big thanks to all who voted my wife. She got a call tonight saying she is in the top three and invited to the Awards banquet to announce the winner on Monday May 9th :clap3:......thanks again keep u posted.....

As I'm sure do many of the other women involved, whether or not they have a car club afiliation. I don't know you or her and my hat goes off to all those in the service industry but how proud can one be of winning outside of the intent of the Award?
Maybe I'm wrong and it was supposed to be an international competition on who can generate the most random votes.... Kinda reminds me of the mounted 12 point buck over the mantle that came from someone else's road kill. Steve Ps this is my Saturday morning before coffee rant. Ignor me and go get em!!! |
I'm sure the other contestants reached out to friends, family, organizations where they belong, to gather votes.

I see nothing wrong with asking others to vote for his wife. This is only natural, I remember my Dad taking cub scout candy to work to sell to his coworkers for me when I was little...same thing. Nothing wrong with it!

Well she won.....I just received a text she received a plaque and she told me it's quite the Event ....she had to dress up as it was a formal attire for this evening event.......I'm real happy for her...
Thanks to all that voted for her she deserves it ....appreciate the help guys....:) |

Lucky lately
Cool story really.... scrolling through Kijiji and I find this Monte Carlo. Thought it was probably just a wreck and pictures didn't match the car. Well I said if the car was as good as the pictures suggested I would go 5g's sight unseen. Owner replies back that he had to have 6g's and told me his name. It turns out he is a friend of mine from way back and lives about 5 miles from me. Everything he has you can eat off and always garage stored. I saw the car about 10 yrs ago and I said to myself that I would like to own it one day ,,, then I forgot about it. I know I could run it to the Friday night cruise-in and ask 10-12g's and get it. Ed
