Don't have a car count .......twice, mayb 3 times more then last year! I'll try to post pics. Track is greasy, speacily down track! Only a few fast cars have made it down. 95 degrees out!!

Nope! This guy runs 180 mph!

Dam* I did not think they allowed Pontiacs with SB Ford engines to race in the event ;)
Tom V. |
George...did they run a gamblers race today? If so who won?

In case you missed it, Dick won King street at Brainard a few weeks ago. 7.73 at 179.47 crossed scales at 3180 lbs. Still pullin power and sorting 60ft. Havent heard any results yet today. (I'll be there tomorrow to see it) |
7.78 @ 178.xx mph and 7.72 @ 178.xx mph I think with track still pretty 'greasy'.
Tomorrow will be hotter and more humid. :) |
Thanks John. Track usually hooks good...rained early this past week and if they had their street type drags tuesday it probably didnt help. Hopefully they can get the track surface better for tomorrow. 99 degree temps wont help anyone though tomorrow.
Glad they have covered stands and plenty of shady spots... I can cool off at water park later...reduced price after 3. |
:D:D:D

George- please keep us posted on qualifying runs for the "Outlaw Street Heads Up" race.

Updates? Been pretty quiet
|
Basically quiet the whole day (since 8:00 am) and george is pretty good about posting up stuff. Hope all is OK at the race.
Tom V. |
George had to order new needle/seat...no one had the size needed. Dick Won Outlaw street..Earlier in day went more mph than KRE's NA dragster. Dicks still tuning launch and its slowly getting there. Still running only 1 small !gun till 60 ft gets where he wants it.

Ok so how did the qualifying look in outlaw street? Did Dick have to mash the button and use calendar pages for delay to win against 9.0 cars like me?

Sorry about not reporting what was going on but I had carb issues ALL DAY, finally got them resolved Satuday evening. Need to order parts from Qwick Fuel Monday morning, I'm sticking around for the Nostolgia Hot Rod Reunion. Damn is 95 degrees HOT!! :)

George destroyed the competition in the burnout contest. John force couldn't have dun any better. :jaw:
John (GM005) pulled the most wheelies in a single pass ! At least 4. He's accepting donations toward the purchase of a set of wheelie bars. My Grandson RB lll won Sportsman. :first: |
