2018 predictions?
Does anyone want to put it out there before it happens? Im hoping to make a 7 second pass with a new engine combo.
|
That would be cool. We need more fast Pontiacs.
I'm not sure 2018 Predictions thread is politically correct anymore. Too many people pic on the CV1 guys and they have to go to there safe space. |

Doesn't seem like a big deal to run 7.90 at 2700 pounds when that purple monster is in the 20s a thousand pounds heavier. That's going to take more than I have to top for sure.

Just a few.............
#1 GTO George still will not run a 7 second pass! #2 Little Jack is still the CV nation's most hated person #3 The ECM will go back to Norwalk #4 Little Jack will run 4.60's or better #5 TT-BILL will continue to be a legend in his own mind #6 Dick Fulton will still be waiting on a converter #7 The ECM will still have the baddest heads up racing cars around! #8 Brian's CV-1 Blown bird will make 2 or 3 passes :D #9 Chiefbigb will be laying down some killer numbers! #10 The Purple pile of chit will run new personal best both 1/8 and 1/4 #11 King Kinsler will be a ultra street badass again in his new "ultra lite" ride |
Going try and break a 8 sec pass @ approximately 3500 lbs.

If I base predictions for my hemi four cylinder on the s..l..o..w progress of the last few years-
2018 will see dyno time, followed by massive re-thinking, re-working, etc. 2019 ??? |

I'm hoping to run better than my 7.81 at Pontiac Heaven in Phoenix in February. We'll see. I've never made it down that track in a fast car yet, for a variety of reasons (mostly my fault). Haven't been out since last May. May need to be retrained.:D
