Patriot's fans....what's up????
Was at home for lunch, watched scroll on ESPN, looks like paradise may not last much longer....
|
The story is complete BS. ESPN doesn't like the Pats. They talk sh!t about them any chance they get. They were one of the major forces pushing the BS "Deflategate" story. I don't put much credence in anything they say about the Pats.
|
Jeremy,
You have to admit the whole trainer thing was weird. I saw a rumor today Belichek was leaving. I say if they win together again, that could happen, he or they might retire or go somewhere warm and coach. Joe |
The reality is that they are all getting old. They aren't going to keep going forever. Brady is going to start showing his age one of these days. Belichick has been coaching the Pats since 2000. So, yes, the "dream team" isn't going to last forever. The ESPN story is just sh!t stirring, though.
|
Happens every year. Pats kick ass, media creates stories to try and disrupt everything, Pats win Superbowl.
Everything is going according to plan. |
Yeah, that's it, "fake news". Hate to admit that there are cracks in the foundation?
|
My "unfake" thoughts...
If Belichick quits, I think he's done. Don't know him, he seems like maybe he wouldn't give a crap about starting over somewhere, dealing with all the drama. I try to plan my life stuff ahead as much as possible. I woulda been unhappy about having to trade my next inline QB. He seemed like a darn good candidate! I've seen Bill with his girlfriend, I could hang with her! Not sure how Mr. Kraft operates. Most folks with mega $$$, do as they darn well please. IF, IF I owned a pro football team, such as this, with it's successes, mainly because of ONE man, I'd be close to him, and do things as he wishes. There's been some hiccups, maybe this is just another(Jeremy...). I sure wouldn't play the power game with the man that has devoted his life to making me look like a genius... There's a saying, "It ain't bragg'n, if you can back it up. That's where Tom Terrific stands at this exact moment. He could have a bad game in 2 weeks, who knows. One of these days he could get sacked, and NOT bounce back to his feet so quickly, feeling older than his advanced pro football age. Crap what if he does get knocked out of, say the last half of a game? Is Brian Hoyer going to rescue the team, and win the game........not real likely. Brian IS likely getting re-educated in the art of playing properly for a great team, he's been streaky, but the teams he's played for generally were not up to the task of playing worth a hoot, anyhow.. Yee Ha! |

When you stand that tall on that high of a pedestal, you need to expect that there will be some who will take shots. Brady & Belichek together & separately hold just about every record in football at the moment and continue to raise the bar on many of them - you have to expect there will be some who will take their best shots at them.
In the perfect world, they would stand there after accepting the Superbowl trophy and resign together. |
People couldn't take shots, without ammunition. And stories like these provide plenty of it.

"Maybe his pal the president will even give him an apartment in Trump Tower." You know the MSM has totally come unhinged when everything has an anti-Trump spin attached. |
Not a Patriots fan but there's no denying we probably will never see another run like they've had. I tip my hat to them. :usa2:
|
As a Steelers fan, I must admit the three way personality drama which just follows the personal trainer drama is just terrible, terrible, terrible, as Steelers folk really wanted all the Patriots to be having happy tea and crumpets while checking air pressure readings.... :)

Seriously? What color is the sky in your world? The Patriots don't even make the top 15 and, what's that? The Steelers are #4?!?! :pound: http://yourteamcheats.com/cheaters/ |
Blue during clear days, different shades of grey on overcast days. Can you argue that they(Patriots) didn't have a guy video taping the other teams play calling? Belichick admitted to it and said he didn't think it was illegal. He took his punishment. Deflategate is only fictional to Pats fans.
Every team cheats, or stretches the rules, always have. The pressure to win these days is ridiculous, even trickling down to elementary grade sports. Is Barry Bonds the home run king? Or is there an * by his name. |
You should read the link before you start throwing those asterisks and accusations like they are winter snowflakes, it's comprehensive.
|
The part that astounds me is, that they are good enough not to have to stoop down to those lower levels. But they did, anyway.

The same is kinda true for Patriot fans....
Can’t take much away from them as a team- but I expected Bill and Tom to retire together. Then you never know if one could do it without the other. I am sure that all teams do things that bend the rules.... but the Pats get caught much more than others which assumes they do it more than others. And like was said earlier they didn’t need the advantage- they are that good. |
Right now MSN is gutting the ref's that did both the AFC games....whatever...

You would think that with all the coddling and covering up the NFL has done for the Cheatriots, they would at least give you guys some new material. :pound: |

Full of awesome right there ^ ^ ^ ^ Boss
B.T.W. I don't fall for fake news. |
Season will be over 4 weeks from yesterday. All the current BS will either swirl down the toilet.......or hit the fan........

Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? |
I often wondered how Belichick had a different record in Cleveland then in New England they are world champs. Not saying about cheating has to be mgmt, providing the $ and players to win.
|
It's not ESPN, it's BS Spin.
I was hoping Brady would retire last season, on top, and let Garoppola take over, Belichick might stay with him for another few seasons and try to win another SB with a different QB. |

I can read just fine and I am glad that you found an article that helps validate your OPINION.
I thought I was being nice, damn. Could have said what I really feel which is that Pats fans are by far the most arrogant fans I’ve met at live games. Don’t fight as much as 49er fans but definitely the most arrogant. That being said I haven’t met any of you this is just my take after going to a game in Foxboro (not even wearing other teams colors) and when I have seen them play in Houston and Dallas. |
Holy crap I just looked at the your team cheats website! ‘Brought to you by the Fire Goodell team’....C’mon man.
This was obviously done in response to deflate gate and is meant to make the Patriots look not as bad. If that is your factual basis to say that NE doesn’t cheat there is nothing any of us could say to make you consider otherwise. I personally don’t have a problem pushing the rules to the breaking point, but the more you get caught the more questions I will have. Getting back on track- I think Tom and Bill will both be back next season unless they win it all this year. |
|
Who's your team?
|
One of the other 31 teams that the NFL didn't favor. You know, one of the teams that did not cheat. I would prove it to you but I destroyed my phone that contained the evidence. :D

I heard that Tom and Bill were both going to retire and go to work for Pilkington Glass.
Apparently Pilkington suffers from a name recognition issue. Pilkington hopes that Tom and Bill will help overcome that, but are willing to accept the possible loss of business with those who don’t like winners.... |
Unfortunately this is a bad year for us- I am a Houston Texan fan.
I’m sure we have done things in the past, and don’t even bother bringing up Cushing... I still like him because he is on my team and has supported us (when not suspended). JJ is a god in our town and hopefully Deshaun Watson is our future. Because of my job I get to go to A LOT of NFL games all over. Some places are great no matter who you are with (Green Bay), some get a bad rap (Oakland and Seattle really aren’t that bad), some are just rude (New England) and some like to fight (49ers and Browns). Most are just a good time no matter what. I went to the Manning/Brady game in NE that snowed really bad. We were field level and as a dumb redneck I wasn’t impressed. |
Not looking to slam, I'll leave that to the rest of you - just looking for perspective.
|
People are only rude at NE games if you're rude first. I've never had a bad experience with any Patriots, Bruins, Celtics, or RedSox crowd.
|
LOL, of course not. Classic answer right there ^ ^ ^
