Yep, that was My friend's car. He sold it just a few months ago. First thing he did was call his lawyer and make sure the title was transferred. Tx2k is a mess. I can't say like most times this isn't real street racing, it was and very sad. It does happen, and cars keep getting faster. Kyle, who owned the car said it was too fast for the street. But Ronnie has always ran cars too fast for the street, and like father like son. First time another friend saw Ronnie on the street he said it was the fastest thing he'd ever seen.

When I saw the funny car style cage in the pictures when it was wrecked I knew it was probably flying, and should not be on the street.

Street racing is fun but stupid when you are 16-17 years old, then you're supposed to grow up.

Driver? What about the people that he ran over? Maybe life crippled or worse. Ignorance all around. Driver and spectators.

I've seen enough drivers do stupid things to know you can't fix stupid (or testosterone levels) by engaging with them or encouraging a race. If you really want to shut a guy down, bet him to race at the track and dare him to show up. Otherwise, let them go - eventually they'll hopefully realize they were acting really stupid. With the easy available HP nowadays nobody should be street racing period - "legend" or not because sh** happens and can happen very quickly.

Street racing (with Pro Mod type HP) is stupid......keep it on the track.

What’s wrong with Piggly Wiggly and potted meat? FYI....the nearest PW to Columbus, IN (where AQ resides) is in eastern TN(5 hours away).

And I'm assuming that was a spectator and not someone out for a stroll.,..I wouldn't be at the finish line area and standing on the curb. Reminds me of the rally races where crowds of people are inches from the track. Not where I'd be.

Haven’t raced in nearly thirty years. My street racing days were the late 70s and early 80s. We all grew up and realized how truly STUPID we were back then. Guess you haven’t matured to that point. If I were you, I’d keep a really good lawyer on retainer. BTW....do your bosses at Cummins have any idea about your participation in illegal activities? Cummins used to be death on any hint of impropriety on the part of an employee....

Well, I could arrange for you to get an all expense paid vacation at either the Floyd or Clark County jails. Street racing is frowned upon around here. With all your “trash” talk I doubt you’d have the balls to leave Bartholomew Co......If you can read a map, Floyd County is just to the west of I-265. Back in my much younger and definitely more STUPID days(16-25), we used to race across the Sherman Minton bridge to Louisville in the wee hours of Sunday mornings. Like I said earlier, we were STUPID back then. Guess you still are.....
