I'll drive my T/A today, in remembrance.

Got to meet him at GTO Nat's in Wichita, in 2010. He and other Pontiac legends were on a question board, it was a fun, cool deal.
He used to post here quite a bit, it's been a few years since I have noticed him here.

Craig went by Craig Hendrickson

Seemed he had another name at 1st and changed it one of the times PY had problems?

But anyway, he was part 'H' of HO Racing, Pontiac extraodinaire!

As I said forgive my ignorance, I don’t know every person here, nor do I know everyone who has an F-body, or those in the racing circuit who have Pontiacs. However thank you for the clarity with the link. Thoughts go out to his family.

H-O Racing Specialties were responsible for cultivating more Pontiac Gear Heads in the 70's and 80's - nationwide/worldwide - than all other sources combined.
Their literature/specs/ID sheets were the "Bible" for PMD enthusiasts/hobbiers.
Every full-blooded Poncho owner i knew had those sheets.
Many of us had most or all of it memorized.

Just that small work alone, became a tremendous contribution to the Pontiac World of the day and times. Not to mention all of their goodies and supplies.

Got my 1st car(68FB) in 77.
Street/striped it 79-85. Got low 11's at track w/a 455, #12 hds, sft cam, q-jet, th350, 3.73 grs etc.

Learned a lot from HO articles and books.

I was wondering same...LOL I had a post there...

This is a shame. He was one of the good ones and always interesting to hear talk.

Thank you for your contribution to the hobby Sir RIP.

Craig told me of his Apollo and DSP days, and we discussed his engine parametric calc files that he turned into "applets". Got a bunch of such files from Craig.

Had hoped to motivate him to develop an inertial energy calc for front dampers, flywheel/converter to reduce or optimied the torsionl damping, would lead to rattler optimization. Craig had the interest but it was not in the priority list.

I bought the HO books in the '60's. Read them many times. These guys really helped us understand Pontiac engines. Never got the meet them, but am thankful for their contributions to our hobby.

RIP Craig.

SO very sorry to hear. Another Pontiac great is gone. May he rest in peace.

So sorry to read this. The HO articles and the books really helped me in my early Pontiac life! Read them over and over. Still have the fingerprint and grease stained books.

RIP Craig (and Kern) and thank you for what you gave to our community. You will be missed.

I still have all their books and newsletters. The one thing I really enjoyed was the large wall charts for different size engines,all the codes and specs. Craig and Kern did a very good thing for the Pontiac hobby.Before them it was a little in mags and Motion booklets. Much gratitude.

Very sad to hear about Craig. He was so fired up about his Packard Project and the mods he had made to the car and engine.
We talked many times about the different parts of the assumed final vehicle.

I knew that he was sick for a period of time so the phone calls dropped off this year.

Rest in Peace Craig, sorry I never got to meet you and Kern O in person.
Happy I was able to me Ken C a couple of times at Pontiac Events.

He was so happy when he was able to speak at one of Steve B's events.
His friend really liked the show too.

Craig's ashes will be sent to the Air Force Academy to reside in a place of honor. Craig wanted no funeral. just a wake with friends and family. The wake was held Aug 24 in a private home in Pahrump NV. ,where Craig has resided since his retirement. I brought my Margarita kit. There were no strangers after I fired up the blender.
